Welcome to Fairfax United Methodist Church! We pray that when you encounter our worship experiences and ministry opportunities, you will encounter a community that loves God, builds disciples, connects believers and serves neighbors.
One thing we encourage all visitors to do first, is to come to a worship experience on Sunday morning. We offer three services: a service of Word and Communion at 8:15, a traditional service at 9:30 and a contemporary service at 11:15.
When you come, there are parking spaces for visitors near the front of the parking lot closest to the church. Feel free to park there and you can come in the front entrance, which will lead you into our sanctuary. If you have children and want to locate their Sunday school class, come in the entrance that is under the car port. There is a list of Sunday school classes there and folks will be able to help you find where you are going.
In worship, if we are offering communion that day, there are gluten free options for those wishing to take communion. Also, there are large print hymnals in the back of the sanctuary, simply ask an usher if you desire one. At the start of the service we will ask that you sign the friendship pads so that we may know of the guests with us that day. If it is your first time we would like to give you a Fairfax UMC mug in thanks for joining us in worship.
